Old Programming guide. Please note before reading this guide that the what is written in here applies to the old style device drivers. Some of the contents of this manual is out of date or not considered applicable any more. The only reason you might be interested in reading the manual is if you are fixing a small bug in a legacy driver. Even in this case the best alternative would still probably to port the driver into the new XML format. You find the up-to-date programming guide here
